Society Scholarships

Applications for the 2026 Tertiary Scholarship Program have now closed. Please see our newsletter for details regarding 2027 application dates.

This scholarship is designed to support our members and their families in pursuing higher education. If you are a previous scholarship recipient, we invite you to apply again, provided you meet the following criteria:

Eligibility Requirements:

A member (or a child or grandchild of a member) under 25 years of age
Enrolled in full-time study at an Australian University or TAFE
University: Undergraduate degrees only
TAFE: First two years of Certificate III or above, or Diploma course (TAFE Courses for Apprenticeships are ineligible)

What you’ll need to submit:

Completed Scholarship Application Form
Verification of your Full-Time enrolment
Evidence of satisfactory academic performance (2nd year University and beyond)
Your Bank Account details (must be the applicant's account, not that of your parents)

Other Conditions:

Notify us if you receive a bursary or scholarship from any other organisation.
The Society’s Board of Directors administers scholarships, and all decisions are final.
Hurstville & Rockdale Friendly Society Ltd reserves the right to vary scholarship conditions.
